PROJECT ZERO JOURNAL
First Weigh In - 230.1
230.1 pounds. Project Zero started at roughly 233. So we're now about 2.9 pounds down.
230.1
Today's weigh-in:
230.1 pounds.
Project Zero started at roughly 233.
So we're now about 2.9 pounds down.
That number isn't spectacular.
Good.
I don't want spectacular.
Spectacular is how you get diets that produce dramatic before-and-after photos followed six months later by a dramatic after-and-before.
What interests me more is how this weight came off.
I haven't been starving myself.
I haven't gone keto.
I haven't declared carbohydrates morally defective.
I haven't started spending two hours a day in a gym.
I've mostly changed the default decisions.
Less sodium.
Less processed sugar.
Less fried food.
Smaller portions.
Better substitutions.
More protein and vegetables.
And a household where we're generally eating the same kind of food rather than requiring somebody to maintain an entirely separate "diet."
There has also already been a useful lesson in measurement.
My weight has bounced around depending on time of day, hydration, clothing and where I was weighed. A doctor's-office number while fully dressed isn't directly comparable to stepping on the home scale first thing in the morning.
So M3 isn't going to obsess over individual readings.
The trend matters more than the dot.
And right now the trend is pretty clear:
233 → 230.1
I'll take it.
